
Samantha Shaver, DMD
Dr. Samantha Shaver is a lifelong Kentucky resident. She received her dental degree from the University of Louisville in 1994. She has been active in organized dentistry since her graduation. She has been vice president of the KY Dental Association (2000), president of the KY Academy of General Dentistry (2000-02) and president of the Louisville Dental Society (2004-05).
In 2007 Dr. Shaver was awarded her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. A dentist who has received their Fellowship offers his or her patients cutting-edge care. “We have to complete 500 hours of continuing education in various disciplines and then pass a rigorous examination. It’s not easy, but it’s worth it to make sure my patients are getting the best possible care available.”

Pam
Pam has been in the dental field since 1991. She received her Expanded Duties Dental Assistant certification from the University of Louisville in 1999. Dental assistants can become certified by passing an examination that evaluates their knowledge. Becoming a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) assures the public that the dental assistant is prepared to assist competently in the provision of dental care. Pam was awarded her CDA in 1998.She brings significant expertise to her work with Dr. Shaver. She strongly believes in patient education and making patients feel more confident with their smiles.
